Privacy and rules

Kadr is a free service run by IBCSC ASBL (Charleroi, Belgium). This is what we keep, and why.

What we keep

Your email, the optional name, your password as an Argon2id hash, your screenshots, their titles, and the text the app recognised if it sends it for search. IP addresses are used only to limit abuse and are erased after 24 hours.

Where

On the non-profit’s server in Belgium. No data is sent to any third-party, advertising or analytics service.

Who sees your screenshots

A screenshot shared “by link” is visible to anyone who has the link. A private one is visible only to you. You can also add a password or an expiry date.

Cookies

One session cookie (kadr_sid) and, if you switch language, a kd_lang cookie. Nothing else.

Your rights

You can delete a screenshot or your whole account at any time from the Account page: files are erased immediately. For GDPR questions, use the contact form on ibcsc.be.

Usage rules

No illegal content, no other people’s personal data without the right to share it, no spam. When something is reported we may disable a link or an account. Each account has 5 GB; an image can be up to 25 MB.
